The Cerise Pink Dog

I think I'll settle down and have a nice snooze now

I think I’ll settle down and have a nice snooze now

I am in the pink
I’m feeling oh so fine
I think I’ll have a play
with something pink of mine.

I have cerise pink balls
and a cerise pink bed
Anything that is pink
must be mine, in my head.

She was only gone a couple of minutes, but I just couldn’t resist

ADMISSION
Monotetra Poem

I’ve chewed a big hole in the door,
I’ve pulled the lino off the floor,
I’ve stolen things out of the drawer.
I’ve wrecked still more, I’ve wrecked still more.

I’ve scratched some holes in the carpet,
I’ve bitten Mum when at the vet,
I’ve covered our kitchen with wet.
I’ve not done yet, I’ve not done yet.

I chased a man on a scooter,
I almost broke Mum’s computer,
I pulled a wire out of her router.
What a hooter! What a hooter!

I’ve run away with her best shoe,
I’ve torn a kitchen towel or two,
I’ve even picked up my own poo
and Mum said “Ugh!” And Mum said “Ugh!”

I’ve broken things that she can’t mend,
I scream and shout when I’ve been penned.
I’m driving Mum around the bend
at her wits’ end, at her wits’ end.

I’ve been naughty, I must admit,
and Mum freaks out and has a fit
about the damage that I commit.
She’s sick of it, she’s sick of it.

I’m now approaching adulthood
so I’ve decided that I could
behave myself just as I should.
I’ll now be good, I’ll now be good.

As it’s my birthday tomorrow
I’m trying to behave well so
presents, that I hope will follow,
she will bestow, she will bestow. 😉

Spring moult, muddy walks and agility training

WP_20150307_10_56_59_Pro 2Spring has come early, or so Mum says. We’ve been sitting in the sunshine outside in my run most of this morning. I’ve been moulting a lot and Mum gave me a good brushing earlier, but I’m still moulting.

Mum gave up her part time job a couple of weeks ago and it has been really good to have her here with me all day, although my auntie has also been staying with us for a few weeks, so I had company anyway. Mum has been taking us to lots of country parks and they have nearly walked my legs off, but I love the new smells.

On one walk I got very muddy when I went for a paddle Continue reading

Mother and daughter

Hello again everyone! That’s me with my birth mother Willow, when I was seven weeks old. I am now nine and three quarters months old and my life will never be fulfilled 😦

It’s been a while since I wrote anything because I’ve been a bit busy. It has been yet another eventful month. Continue reading

Xmas and New Year

Lexy Xmas 2014 It has been a very exciting few weeks here in our house. First of all Mum decided to bring a tree into the lounge and put a load of twinkly lights all over it with lots of silver balls and tinsel. I wasn’t allowed to go near the tree though.  Mum had moved all the furniture around so it was blocked off from me 😦 Mind you, I managed to squeeze between the two sofas a few times and have a run around with Mum and Auntie in hot pursuit.

Dog Sitting

1604371_10152861199040781_3325865567005167967_nMy auntie has come over to stay with us for a month so I have some company during the day now when Mum is at work. The first day Mum went to work, while I was outside supposedly to use the toilet, I decided to dig a hole in the only bit of my run that hasn’t been slabbed.  I got covered in mud. My poor auntie had to tie me up while she cleaned me up before Mum came home to see the mess I’d made.

Next day Mum was off work and I did the same thing again, so they went to buy some kerb stones to fill in the space down my alley way (my toilet area). Mum gave me a mini-bath because I was going to my GSD Xmas party in the evening. When she had finished I smelled like a powder puff! (I still do 🙂 ) Continue reading

Our Xmas Party

Watching the games wearing my antlers

Watching the games wearing my antlers

I’ve been too busy to post anything on my blog recently, but I must tell you all about my GSD training club Xmas party.

I had a fantastic time. I met lots more big GSD’s who were in the intermediate and advanced classes (I’m only a beginner). Lots of dogs and owners came in fancy dress, but Mum and I just wore something a bit Christmassy. I was wearing some silly antlers, but they were annoying me all evening and I kept trying to get them off. Continue reading
