Baking

Mmmmm. That smells pawsome!

I just love it when Mum does her baking
‘specially if she lets me taste what she’s making.
I sit in front of the oven, savouring the smell
hoping I’ll get some when it’s finished as well.

I lie on the rug as good as can be
waiting for her to give some to me.
But she doesn’t. She puts it away
and says it is for another day. 😦
